DESOLATION Parts Ways With Drummer, Announces Replacement
October 11, 2007Oregon-based death metallers DESOLATION have parted ways with drummer Mike Boynton and have replaced him with Matt Hicks from the band REEKER. The group's vocalist, Damien Boynton, recently spent time on the road as the frontman for VITAL REMAINS, with whom he filmed the "Evil Death Live" DVD, out now in the U.S. on MVD.
DESOLATION is hard at work on the follow-up to "Crucifucked", which came out in 2005. A 2008 release is expected.
The band's last tour took place in October/November 2006 as the support act for DEICIDE.
